Dune is a forward-curve calculation service. It is intended for lawful, good-faith use. Do not use Dune to submit unlawful material or data that you are not authorized to provide. The operator may restrict or block access when necessary to protect the service, including in response to repeated rate-limit violations or other abuse. The service is provided on an as-is basis and users remain responsible for the data they submit and for their use of the results.
Dune processes the data contained in API requests in order to perform the requested calculations and return the results. Calculation inputs and generated results are processed in memory while a request is handled but never kept in persistent storage. IP addresses are processed for rate limiting, abuse tracking, and enforcement of temporary or permanent bans. An IP address may remain in persitant storage. Expired temporary bans are cleared as active bans, but their security record is not automatically deleted.
The application does not intentionally log ordinary request payloads or calculation results. Security-related events may include the IP address, strike count, and ban events. Separate infrastructure such as a reverse proxy, hosting provider, or system-level logging may process technical request information according to its own configuration and retention practices. Access to data handled by the service may be technically possible for the operator and for infrastructure providers required to run the service. Data is not intentionally shared with third parties by the Dune application itself.
